Matcha is also known as green tea.

This green tea milk recipe is simple to make, and only uses 5 ingredients (4 if you don’t use the ice cubes!).

To make this tea recipe, you will need a whisk when you are making your matcha.

By using a whisk when dissolving your matcha tea powder it creates a nice aerated and clump free matcha tea.

What is Matcha?

Matcha is a type of tea that comes from Japan. It is also known as Japanese green tea powder.

In Japan, matcha is often used for tea ceremonies. But there are many more uses for matcha in cooking. For example, matcha is commonly used in boba tea, cookies, and even salad dressings.

There are two main types of matcha which are sold. These are ceremonial grade and culinary grade.

The highest quality of matcha is ceremonial grade. Culinary grade matcha is more commonly used in cooking. Both ceremonial grade and culinary grade matcha tea can be used for cooking. However, as they are of different quality, the taste of the tea will differ slightly.
