This brown sugar syrup for boba is a simple syrup similar to caramel. It’s a sweetener that’s easy to make and can be used to flavor and sweeten many different drinks.
1cups(190 grams, 6.70 ounces) brown sugarlight or dark
1cupwater
Instructions
In a small saucepan place both the brown sugar and water. Stir until the brown sugar is completely dissolved and bring to a boil over medium to high heat.
Cook at a rapid boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Then, turn off heat.
Allow the syrup to cool completely before you store it.
Notes
Store in a sealed glass jar or container for 1 to 2 weeks.
