Ingredients

  • ½ cup (55 grams oats, 1.94 ounces) old fashioned oats (rolled) or quick
  • 1 tablespoon (15 grams, 0.53 ounces) Nutella softened
  • ¼ cup (60 grams, 2.12 ounces) Greek yogurt, or plant based yogurt
  • ½ cup (120 grams/ml, 4.23 ounces) milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon (12 grams, 0.423 ounces) chia seeds or basil seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or to taste

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, Nutella, yogurt, milk of choice, seeds, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  • Taste for flavor and adjust to your liking by adding more maple syrup or vanilla.
  • Transfer the mixture to a glass, breakfast bowl, or mason jar. Seal and store in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Serve plain or with toppings of your choice.

Notes

If you store your Nutella in the fridge, make sure you soften your Nutella before use. This will make it easier to mix through.
Some topping ideas include:
  • Toasted hazelnuts,
  • A drizzle of Nutella or chocolate sauce
  • Fresh fruits such as strawberries or blueberries
  • Chopped nuts
