Ingredients
  

  • 200 ml oat milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of choice such as maple syrup or monk fruit sugar
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Marshmallows optional for topping

Instructions
 

  • Place oat milk in a small pot on the stove over medium heat. Heat until you start to see steam rising from the pan (you do not want it to boil). Then reduce the heat slightly. Stir occasionally.
  • Add the cocoa powder and stir until it dissolves. Then add the sweetener, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir well. Turn off heat.
    Taste for sweetness. If desired, add more sweetener and mix it through.
  • Pour into a mug and allow to cool slightly before drinking.
