- 350 grams (12.35 ounces) fresh or frozen strawberries
- ½ teaspoon lemon or lime juice optional
- 2 teaspoons sugar or to taste, optional
If using fresh strawberries, wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut into small pieces. If using frozen strawberries, allow to soften slightly.
Add strawberries and lemon (or lime), sugar (if using) juice to a blender. See note 1. Blend until smooth. See note 2.
Optional: Place a fine mesh strainer over a large container and pour the juice in the strainer. This will help remove any seeds or bits from your strawberry juice. Serve.
- Adjust the sweetness of your strawberry juice depending on the ripeness of your strawberries and your preferences.
- If your strawberry juice is too thick for your liking, add a bit of water and blend again.
- If you are finding it hard to blend the strawberries, you may need to add a small amount of water to help blend them.
- If using frozen strawberries, ideally allow them to defrost overnight before blending.
