  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Or Boneless Skinless Chicken Thigh Fillets: Cut into bite sized pieces.
  • Salt and Pepper
  • All Purpose Flour (Plain Flour)
  • Butter
  • Minced Garlic
  • White Vinegar: Or apple cider vinegar.
  • Light Soy Sauce
  • Honey

Instructions

This recipe for honey garlic chicken serves 4. The ingredient quantities can easily be adjusted to suit how many serves you need to make.

Step One: Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.

Step Two: In a shallow dish, place the flour. Then, coat the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.

Step Three: Heat butter in a large frying pan over high heat. Once hot, add the chicken and cook until the chicken is golden and cooked through.

Step Four: Reduce heat to medium and add the garlic. Saute for about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn your garlic.

Step Five: Add the vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Stir to combine.

Step Seven: Turn off heat and remove pan from heat. Serve.

  • 750 grams (1.50 pounds) boneless skinless chicken breast or boneless skinless chicken thigh fillets, cut into bite sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to season chicken
  • 60 grams (2.12 ounces) plain flour (all purpose flour) or as needed
  • 3 tablespoons (45 grams, 1.58 ounces) butter
  • 1 teaspoon (1-2 cloves) minced garlic
  • 1 ½ tablespoon white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup (90 grams, 3.17 ounces) honey
